Established in 1896 as The Country Club of Oconomowoc, The Club at Lac La Belle is the 5th oldest course in the state of Wisconsin. The original nine holes of the course bordered the scenic Lac La Belle lake.
The Club at Lac La Belle has 126 years of history and has gone through three major course renovations during that time. The first in 1896, followed by the second redesign almost 30 years later in 1925, and the third in 1969.
On Monday, May 14, 2018, The Club at Lac La Belle broke ground on the course’s fourth redesign. Renovation plans include include the relocation of holes away from problematic wet areas, additional green space, a pro shop renovation, and the construction of a special events venue.
