In the 1980’s, Don Laver was renting the south part of what is now the golf course to several farmers to pasture cattle on. When Glovers opened up their driving range Elmer Laver thought it might be a good idea to start a small golf course. As he was riding his 4-wheeler by the big pine tree on the hill overlooking Salt Creek he came up with a plan that would be a 9-hole par 3 golf course.
The rest is history and all are welcome (from beginner to amateur) to enjoy how our vision turned into reality!
