Rathdowney Golf Club

Rathdowney Golf Club was founded in 1930 and extended to an 18-hole course in 1997, when the legendary Eddie Hackett having a hand in the extension. The new and the old have married very successfully that it is hard to distinguish between the original and the new. Water comes into play on the Par 4 8th and there are intimidating out-of-bounds on the 3rd and 4th. The 6th is a testing and difficult Par 5 and the 12th, 15th and 18th are equally demanding. All, adding up to a memorable and challenging, round of golf. Rathdowney has a fine clubhouse where you can relax and enjoy the club facilities where full catering is provided for visitors and members alike.
