Located in the western edge of Lexington County, near historic Batesburg-Leesville SC, the Ponderosa Country Club offers challenging golf and a family environment. Ponderosa Country Club was founded in 1965 by a group of visionaries for recreational facilities in the area owned by the membership.

Amenities include a championship golf course, Olympic pool, restaurant, banquet facilities and friendly members. The course is situated on 214 acres in a rural setting with stunning views and golf events for all handicap levels. The Pro Shop offers members an attractive selection of seasonal sportswear, golf equipment, golf supplies, as well as golf lessons. The golf course offers separate men’s and women’s facilities. Events for men and women are sponsored by the men’s and women’s golf associations. The course is one of the best maintained courses in the state with an award winning golf superintendent and staff.
