Named after nearby Crystal Lake, Crystal Lake Golf started with a front 9 designed and created in 1970 by the legendary golf course architect, Bruce Matthews. The first 9 holes have remained relatively unchanged and feature sprawling fairways, suitable for golfers of all experience levels. In 1987, Bruce’s son Jerry Matthews continued his father’s work with a back 9 designed to challenge even the most experienced golfers.
